AT AMÉLIE'S

We could not miss to stop by at Amélie - or more precisely at Café des Deux Moulins. Before continuing in our walk, we had crème brûlée, a coctail and an espresso. I am very glad that we were there together! :)

LA TOUR EIFFEL

It is unbelievable, but I took the wholy transparent elevator (at least I think so, did not open my eyes the whole ride) to the top of the Eiffel Tower. We then went to the last floor. The queue was long, but bearable. I would never go there alone, but together we made it perfectly :)

PARIS THROUGH OUR IPHONES

Here are photos of the city from our phones. I do not know what to write anymore, maybe only that this time, I liked it in Paris much more, because we were there together :)

AUTUMN PARISIAN WALK II.

We walked through the Latin Quarter, Le Marais, made it to Seine River, Canal St. Martin - where we threw flip flops :), had a lunch, hung our lock on Pont des Arts, got to Rives de la Seine full of stands with paintings,... Challenging walk, but very pretty. The metro was not working due to a strike, so we walked almost the whole Paris by foot.

AUTUMN PARISIAN WALK I.

After our breakfast, me and my love went out for the city discovery. We went from our 13. arrondisement to the Seine river. We saw shop windows, smelled grilled chickens and seafood,... It was impossible to not take photos. Do you like them?

PARISIAN STREET ART

One of the things that I liked the most about Paris was for me - as an art lover - the street art at every step. It is mainly on Montmartre, but even in our 13. arrondisement there was some here and there. It was magical especially during our night walk. I notice the details more, my dear would not notice these images most of the time, but that is why we complement each other. Are you fans of street art?

BALCONY AT MERCURE PARIS PLACE D'ITALIE

When I think of Paris, the first thing that comes to my mind are black-and-white photos of Parisian boulevards and little streets. That is why I decided to edit these photos in such style. They were taken from our balcony. As I mentioned in the previous post, we visited Paris last year in autumn. We stayed in a beautiful hotel Mercure Paris Place d'Italie, which was located on 25 Boulevard Auguste Blanqui in the 13th arrondissement. Our room was pretty, with one whole wall covered with a poster with models/ballerinas. I really liked our little balcony, from where I liked to watch the people in the streets. In the evening, the lightning Eiffel Tower was seen a bit, too. I still cannot believe I have been to Paris and seen all of the architecture, white buildings, balconies, small shops... Everything that I only admired from a distance, in the pictures, for years. And whatsmore - I got to see Paris in autumn, which was also my dream.
Do you like these black-and-white photos?

FROMAGE DE CHÈVRE

Thanks to my love, I have discovered this goat cheese this autumn. We liked to eat it together, in combination with a fig jam and walnuts. It was new to me, and this combination quickly became my favourite snack. I really like the sweet & salty combination...
Are you in favour of goat cheese?

KOZELKA

This weekend, me and my love were hiking, on Kozelka which is a natural reservoir and protected area. You could see the Nečtiny Castle from up there, too. I was not that afraid of heights anymore and my condition got better too. What was your weekend like?

THE CLASSIC

A few days ago, on Thursday to be precise, I lent my Canon camera to my dear sister and she took these pictures. I quite like this look, it is simple, classical...

NEW IN

In today's post, I captured a few things that I am happy about now (material). The first thing is a ring from Pandora, which I got from my Mom for name's day. I picked it myself, I really like the colour blue. The next thing is a handbag from Armani Exchange from bibloo.cz, which is an e-shop that I can only recommend to you. The handbag is a bit extraordinary, which is maybe why I like it. It came with a dustbag. And the last thing is a cream for the under eye area, which I got from my sweetheart, I can recommend it, too. What did you like the most?

SÖLL, TIROL, AUSTRIA - DAY 2. AND 3.

Austria, what a beautiful, wonderful country... It was my wish for a long time to see the Alps for real. I am very grateful that I got to see them with my love. Even though I did not learn snowboarding in the end due to my fears, I really liked our trip. And our hotel was splendid.
P.S.: I need an advice from you, my dear readers. Would you have some tips for me on how to overcome the panic fear of heights, please? I was unpleasantly surprised by the fear that overwhelmed me when I got on the top of the blue Ski slope. How do you get rid of that? How do you just let yourself go on the snowboard or skis from such a height, without fear? I would be very grateful for your tips! :)

SÖLL, TIROL, AUSTRIA - 1. DAY

In January, I got to see the Alps for real together with my love. (We have seen them last year from the window car and during the stop at the gas station, but this was better of course.) We stayed at a glorious, beautiful Hotel AlpenSchlössl, which was a beautiful surprise! :) The food and all of its courses was amazing and tasty, dinners, breakfasts (one day, there was even a fresh salmon), our apartment with a terrace and a view over the Alps, heated floor in the bathroom :)
Places to visit around: Hohe Salve, Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser, and also a walk in the mountains or to the nearest village :)
