IN THE SHADES OF BLUE

In this post, here are yet a few photos from Třeboň. More precisely, photos of me from a walk along the pond Svět and after our wonderful dinner at Šupina a Šupinka restaurant. Do you like the outfits?

TŘEBOŇ: AFTER-CHRISTMAS TIME

Me and my sweetheart spent a nice weekend in Třeboň. He wanted to show me the beauty of the city. He said it is even more beautiful in the summer, but I liked it already in winter time. It was my second time in the South Bohemia and I like it there so much. I am very happy we went there together. We stayed at a Hotel Zlatá hvězda. We got to see the state chateau Třeboň, the Schwarzenberg's tomb, ponds - Třeboň is a city of ponds and pond farming, we also went to a fish restaurant Šupina a Šupinka, where my love took me and we had a great time together there. We had loads of food there and I am not much of a big eater, so I was already full in the middle, but it was very delicious. And I bought some pralines and marzipan fish at Třeboň v marcipánu for my friend from work. Have you ever been to Třeboň?

GRANDHOTEL PUPP THROUGH IPHONE

Here are some more photos from our beautiful trip, but this time shot only on my phone. You will see photos of me, our room and the room view. We had a very nice time here together. But as I wrote I sometimes felt inappropriate here in such an environment. I have got beautiful memories of our trip. What do you think of the photos?

GRANDHOTEL PUPP, KARLOVY VARY

We spent beautiful three days in Carlsbad. In a hotel I only admired from a distance during the film festival in the summer. We stayed in a beautiful apartment, where you could feel like a film star for a moment, which we are :) In the hotel, there is also a wellness where we spent a nice time. Besides that we were going for walks, saw an evening operetta "Rusalka", went to the Becher's Bar, drank champagne for breakfast, rode in a carriage with horses where Japanese tourists chanted us for a kiss, went to Diana Lookout, by the end of our trip we wanted to see "Joker" but we ended up not going since I messed up the dates of the cinema screening... Overall we had a nice time. But I have to say I sometimes felt inappropriate there, in such an environment...
The hotel has a long tradition, e.g. J. S. Bach, Beethoven, Russian tsar Peter the Great... And Czech and foreign actors during my favourite film festival. I have got beautiful memories of our trip. What do you think of the photos? Have you ever been here?

HIKING: DIANA LOOKOUT

No one has ever taken such beautiful photos of me. I think it is possible when you are photographed by someone who likes you and also understands photography. Other than that I have to say that I understimated the clothes for an autumn a little bit. But lucky enough I got warmed up by the walk to the hill where we went to Diana Lookout and Papilonia - Butterfly house. Do you like the photos?

CHRISTMAS GIFTS

So what was your Christmas Eve like? I enjoyed the dinner, and I also received a few pretty presents. From my Mom, I got a set from Helena Rubinstein, a lip oil from Clarins, a silver backpack from Nobu and a set from Yves Saint Laurent. From my sister, I got a pretty notebook to write in. And in the evening, I got to see my love and from him, I got a snowboard hood, a flash disc, eau de toilette Miss Dior and a belt from Ralph Lauren. And when it comes to giving presents, for example I sewed myself a small pencil case for my love. What were you the happiest about?

CHIOGGIA - LITTLE VENICE

After Sottomarina, the next day we went to a town called Chioggia, also called "little Venice". The whole trip of ours (ending with Verona) was my very first visit of Italy. I liked this country very much, mostly their architecture and lifestyle, as well as food. Chioggia is a charming fishing town interwined with canals and bridges. It is of Roman origin and in the Middle Ages it was the second most important city of the Venetian Republic. We had a problem later on when looking for a place for lunch, because the Italians were having their "la siesta" :) But in the end we found one and we had, among other, St Jacob mussels. We transfered from Sottomarina to Chioggia, also called the little Venice. It is a small fishing city in province Venezia, Veneto region. What do you think of my outfit?

SOTTOMARINA, VENETO, ITALY

In November, me and my love made a car trip to Italy for a few days. After a long way we arrived to our first stop - a city called Sottomarina. I saw the sea for the first time, when not counting one time in Turkey when I was little. The sound of the waves is so calming and I liked the seagulls flying over the horizon. Thank you, my dear M. .

SEA SUN

Here are a few photos from our 1 day in Sottomarina in Italy. To wake up to a sunrise by the sea, with a view of just this scenery, was great! And in the evening after our long way we did not even go out for a dinner, we were not even hungry so we talked about life. We had a great time with my love here :) Do you like the outfit?

BY THE SEA

My dear M., thank you for such beautiful photos!
We had the beach all to ourselves. It was too cold to swim in the sea, but it does not matter. It seems like yesterday when we were sitting on a log and listening to the sounds of the sea and collecting seashells on our way. It was quite cold, so we had to dress up a bit. Do you like the photos?

IN THE GARDENS OF KROMĚŘÍŽ

Me and my friend have spent a few days in Moravia in the Czech Republic, in Kroměříž, to be precise. We enjoyed the most the two main city's big gardens, which would be even better during the summer I suppose. And in one of these we took these photos.

KROMĚŘÍŽ

In today's post I would like to show you photos from our trip to Kroměříž in Moravia, the Czech Republic, where we went with my friend. Kroměříž is a nice, quiet town, most people ride their bicycles, there is a lot of green spaces, 2 big gardens, cafés, restaurants and last but not least also a cinema, where we saw two films - "Joker" and "Národní třída".
Have you ever been to Kroměříž or Moravia? :)

DOG PORTRAITS

One week of this summer, me and my sisters got to spend in a cottage in the woods. It was a week full of courage testament :) We had to cook for ourselves and also create a programme which was a bit limited because of our location. Luckily there was a dam nearby, where I often used to go when I was little during the times when we were spending every summer in the cottage with our aunt. The whole week was a nice relax and after a couple of days, our neighbours befriended us. They had this little dog with them. He was already older and ill, could not walk much, but he was lucky to belong to the right people :)
Do you like the photos? How is your summer going?

THE POSH CAT

I do not know how about you, but I personally really like taking photos of animals/pets. Sometimes it can be difficult because some of them are really restless and it is not easy to catch a static snapshot, but with my step sister's cat, it went well.

COLOUR: RED

I do not drink wine much and in our family, it has never been a standard nor a normal thing. But one day I got the chance to try this red wine out at home. It was very good.
Do you like wine? If yes, which one do you like the most?

BURGER RESTAURANT PLZEŇ - DELISH

In the meantime of our week in the cottage in the woods, we made a trip to the city, to a popular and well-known burger restaurant, located in Riegrova 20 in the centre. The restaurant is called Delish. In this post, I would like to show you photos from our visit of the restaurant. It is located in a quiet, nice street near the "náměstí Republiky" (city square). You can sit on the outside terrace, too, just like we did. I must say I do not see any negative aspects about this restaurant! Everything was great. I ordered French burger (with an onion) along with a basket of homemade chips. I honestly recommend you to visit this place! Especially if you like burgers. Of course, it is not exactly healthy, but time from time I think it is okay :)
Have you ever been to this restaurant?

LITTLE THINGS

In the last few weeks, we have bought some new decorations and little things because of our home renovation. For example this white cute basket or a flowerpot in pastel colours.
What is your favourite home decor?

A SIMPLE DINNER

When I was living for some time in a new city on my own, I had to cook for myself sometimes, too. Of course it was not any high gastronomy compared to the Michelin star, but it was edible :) First of all, it is definitely cheaper to cook at home than eating out or buying frozen food. Second of all, it is definitely an useful skill.
But sometimes my LOVELY MOM gave me some food for the week. Thanks a lot!

PAUL BOULANGERIE

I think that this french chain of bakeries/cafés is well known for a lot of people. Especially in Prague, it is at every corner and everyone who lives there must have at least heard about it. This chain was created in 1889 by Mr. Charlemagne Mayot in a city of Croix near Lille in France. The main seat is in Lille. Today, Paul Boulangerie employs about 10 thousand employees.
I will never forget the day when I first tasted their macaroons. I admit, maybe the enchantening was caused by how much I heard and read about this brand ;) But their macaroons, desserts, pastry with chocolate pieces, butter croissants,... are really tasty. I first visited this place with my sisters in 2016, on Anděl, Prague 5. We were sitting at a small round table and there were French melodies and songs playing :)

DIY: SHIRT

Long time ago I have sewed (or to be precise, re-sewed) this shirt for my sister. Originally it was supposed to be thrown away, but thanks to my creativity I decided to save it & make it better! I cutted the sleeves, fixed them and added a few studs.
Do you also enjoy remaking old pieces of clothes?

TRIED OUT NEW COSMETICS

When you move into a new city, it is a chance to get to know new things about yourself. Suddenly, you are there on your own, but it also brings some positive sides - new people and new experiences. I think that everyone should at least try this out in the beginnings of adult life. Without this experience, one would be much poorer. You also learn to appreciate your home more. I have learned a lot of new things from the beauty area (and that is what today's post will be about), it seems to me that in Prague, people really care about these things more than in other cities. Maybe it is good, maybe it is bad, but all in all - everything with moderation.

CAFÉ DES DEUX MOULINS - MONTMARTRE, PARIS

"Amélie" is maybe my all-time favourite film. And seeing the café where Amélie worked was my dream for a long time. It seemed unreal to me, actually sitting there. I tasted their escargots with spinach and crème brûlée. The café-restaurant gained its fame thanks to this film. The name of this place refers to the nearby cabarets Moulin Rouge and Moulin de la Galette. It is located on 15 Rue Lepic. Have you ever been there?

CAFÉ DE FLORE - PARIS

This well-known café is located on 172 Boulevard Saint-German. It is one of the oldest coffeehouses in Paris and is favoured by famous people, such as Kate Moss. In the past it was a meeting point for writers such as Jean Paul Sartre or Simone de Beauvoir. We had the french onion soup (soupe à l’oignon gratinée), coffee and crème brûlée. Do you like the french onion soup? Do you know this café?

GASTRO OF PARIS

We did not go to Paris for gastrotourism, but the whole country is known for its cuisine. So we did taste a few goodies. For example crêpes on the street at the stand, cheeses at Au Cadet de Gascogne, sweets at Gilles Marchal, delicious sweet macaroons from Biscuiterie de Montmartre Paris, I also passed by the greengrocery as seen in "Amélie" or we also sat next to an old couple having dinner - the photo seems romantic to me... I enjoyed also simply looking at the restaurants and bars from the streets. What would you wish to taste at the moment?

RAINY DAY

PARIS: IPHONE PHOTOS

Here are yet a few photos from Paris shot only on my phone. Paris is fantastic! It is not exactly as I imagined it, but I liked it there. Old historical subway (Le Métro) where there accordionist was playing, great food, drinks, specific atmosphere of the city, a hallmark of history, tracks of poets and writers and painters at every step,... MONTMARTRE STROLL

I woke up early in the morning to catch the sunrise by the Sacré-Cœur basilique. Montmartre is, to me, the most beautiful part of Paris! So artistical, a lot of street art around, historical streets, everything has its own magic, places from "Amélie", shop windows, boulangeries, people,... Amazing! Here are a few photos from my magical walk around Montmartre :)

MONTMARTRE: IPHONE PHOTOS

Here are photos from our Easter trip to Paris. My big test of courage was the flight... But I was looking forward to the capital of France so much! For the longest time, I wished to see the city for real. Ever since I was little, I was interested in France and their culture. This was a big dream come true. We stayed at Timhotel Montmartre, the staff was very nice. Our apartment was really small, the balcony dirty, but I liked all of that - it had its charm! And to see all of the streets, shops, people, sights, film locations from "Amélie"... Amazing! After our arrival we did not have time to do much, but the city at night looked great. And the next day in the morning I woke up early to take photos of the sunrise. Do you like the photos?

PRAGUE AT NIGHT

It is great being able to ride the night tram, to walk through the lightened streets, and not having to worry about the next bus... That is what I like about living in the city. That, and also the diversity of people all around. You never know who you are going to run into, to which life stories you are going to listen to.
